Lion’s Mane

This is the world’s largest known jellyfish. The longest was recorded at 37 meters, from top to tentacle tip. But these creatures live in the relatively unexplored deep seas, near the Arctic and Antarctic. Therefore there could be species and specimens that are twice as big, perhaps even three or four times larger. Considering how little we know about our oceans, it is mind boggling to imagine the possibilities.
